My
existing license code is not valid with version 4
Programmer Studio version 4 will not work with any previous registration
codes. Existing customers with a valid license and current subscription
(previously SSP) will need to email sales@programmerstudio.com
to request a new version 4 registration code.
What
happened to Programmer Studio/ix
Following Hewlett-Packard's recent announcement to discontinue the
HP3000, we have chosen to remove the distinction between Programmer
Studio and Programmer Studio/ix Programmer Studio now includes a
free license to use WTRSH server software.
What is WTRSH
Programmer Studio uses FTP/Telnet to connect to servers. However
FTP/Telnet does not fully support some specific features of the
HP3000 (such as Qedit file formats, Copylibs, etc). To fully support
these HP3000 specifics, we have special server software, WTRSH,
that is used as an alternative connection method. Programmer Studio
includes a license to connect to, and use, this server connection
software, WTRSH. If you are not programming on an HP3000, you will
definitely not need WTRSH. If you are programming on an HP3000,
then you may need to use WTRSH if the standard FTP/Telnet connection
does not fully support your requirements as described above.
Does Programmer Studio support
version control software
Programmer Studio 4.1 provides an interface to any command-line
based version control software. This includes commercial products
or custom solutions. For more information follow one of the links
