Progammer Studio for Sun Solaris Programmers

Programmer Studio provides the ideal Windows-based editor for Sun Solaris server development using C/C++. Combining a professional code editor with syntax awareness, support for highlighting errors from Sun Workshop C compiler and interactive debugging using a remote DBX session, Programmer Studio provides all the features an experienced Sun Solaris developer could need.

Programmer Studio actively uses FTP in conjunction with a remote TELNET session to bring together your existing tools, compilers, debuggers, etc. into a single IDE. This is done without replacing any of your existing software or requiring any new software to be installed on the server, which affords new users the luxury of using to their native server-based applications at any point.

Unlike similar Windows-based server development solutions, Programmer Studio is not limited to C/C++. The syntax aware code editor provides support for almost any programming language or file type you may encounter, including Java, perl, python & shell scripts, HTML & XML documents, you name it. Integrated debugging and error highlighting (using the syntax check –c flag) is also available for Perl.

Programmer Studio also supports all major server platforms where FTP and TELNET are available. This includes HP-UX, Linux, AIX, etc.

Programmer Studio provides a consistent user interface and is keystroke compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio. Therefore user training is minimal.
