How do I order Programmer
Studio?
The easiest method is to order online and pay by Credit Card using
our Secure Server. Alternatively, you can enter all the details
requested on these "buy" pages, and then select the option
to email your order to us, or to print out your order for later
faxing to us.
What do I receive
when I order Programmer Studio?
When you order Programmer Studio you are purchasing a license, together
with the rights to download and use later releases of Programmer
Studio for 12 months. On ordering you will receive an email containing
the REGISTRATION CODE which will mark the software as licensed.
We do not ship anything to you. The latest versions are always available
for download from our website, and the Help file is the complete
documentation. If you really want a CD, then please email separately
to request this (at no charge), but please note that this release
could be superseded by the time you receive it!
Do you offer volume
discounts on Programmer Studio?
We do not offer volume discounts on Programmer Studio.
Do you offer government
/ educational / charity discounts?
We do not offer any of the above discounts.
Do you offer
classroom discounts?
We offer classroom licenses to recognized institutions at no charge.
These free licenses are restricted to use within a classroom environment.
This use would not include use by the data processing department
of an educational establishment for its own business purposes.
What is the warranty
period?
The warranty period is 12 months. During this period you are entitled
to download and use later releases of Programmer Studio.
What is the
Subscription Program?
After the warranty period, we offer the Subscription Program. For
an annual charge, (currently $100 per anum, per copy) the Subscription
Program gives an additional 12 months of entitlement to download
and use later releases of Programmer Studio. This is the lowest
cost method of keeping up with new releases and fixes to Programmer
Studio. We automatically notify you by email when the Subscription
Program is due for renewal.
How do I upgrade
to the latest version?
If you are covered by warranty or Subscription Program, you are
already entitled to download and use the latest version. If you
are not covered by warranty or Subscription Program, then you will
need to pay a license upgrade charge. This is calculated at $45
per copy, PLUS $10 per month, or part month, per copy from the expiration
of your warranty or Subscription Program to the current date. The
cost will be calculated for you on our license upgrade page on our
website. We recommend that users take out our Subscription Program
as the lowest cost option for keeping current with new releases
of Programmer Studio.
How do I pay for
a support contract?
We do not offer a separate support contract. We will provide support
by email to all users. Obviously many issues will require a fix
found in a later release of Programmer Studio, so we strongly recommend
that you take out our Subscription Program so that you are entitled
to these later releases.

What
happened to Programmer Studio/iX?
Following Hewlett-Packard's recent
announcement to discontinue the HP3000, we have chosen to remove
the distinction between Programmer Studio and Programmer Studio/iX.
Programmer Studio now includes a free licence to use WTRSH server
software.
How do I buy WTRSH?
WTRSH is free when used in conjunction with Programmer Studio and
can be installed on any number of HP3000s.
